Established local Chartered Certified Accountants seeking qualified accountant, with a minimum of 2-3 years PQE, or qualified by experience accountant, to maintain and run a varied portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. This position would be suitable for somebody returning to the profession after a short career break. The salary for this role is circa £30k pa.

The successful candidate will be fully competent and proficient in the preparation of financial statements and must be able to deal with tax compliance work covering income tax, corporation tax and capital gains tax. An element of the work will be office-based but there will be scope to carry out some work from home; candidates will need to be locally based within a maximum 10 mile radius of the South Croydon area.

Strong communication skills are essential for this role, and there will be opportunities for further progression and professional development for the right candidate.
