Job Description

Art Teacher

An inspiring Nursery Teacher is required to introduce the Early Years to Art, with fun and meaningful activities introducing the children to different artistic styles and well-known Artists.

You will ideally have a Degree in Early Years or Primary Education, but a passion for your work with the Under 5\'s is the most essential criteria for this role.

If you have experience Teaching Art, or have an interest in this particular area, this role will offer a rewarding and well-resourced working environmnet, with lots of opportunity for career porgression and futher development.

You will be responsible for planning and providing your own activities and managing the staff assisting with your Art sessions.

Some of your responsibilities as an Art Teacher will include:

To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment To lead the team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS To work in partnership with the parents To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or have a Teaching qualification with Primary or Early Years Have experience of working with children QTS an advantage but not essential
