Job Description
Room Leader
A Room Leader is required to work with children from 16-20 months. This position is within a growing Nursery that will offer lots of opportunities for you to progress further in the future.
You will manage 3 staff within the room and ensure all the children receive high quality care and education.
As well as having a committed and professional attitude towards your work, you will need to be caring, warm and friendly as these young children need lots of loving support to develop their confidence and independence.
You will have strong management skills and be able to both lead and inspire your staff team.
Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:
To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
To work in partnership with the parents
To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Have experience of working with children
