Job Description

This delightful red star country house hotel would like to appoint a hard working Chef de Partie to assist in their rosette accredited kitchen.

The establishment offers a choice of dining options and the setting proves popular as the perfect location for weddings and other functions. The extensive menus are ostensibly English with French influences, offering traditional cuisine that is simple yet fresh and exciting. Candidates must be from a quality background, preferably with rosette and volume cooking experience.

The successful Chef de Partie will be dedicated to their chosen profession and committed to maintaining the reputation of the hotel as one of the finest in the area. Assisting the senior chefs in all areas of the kitchen you will be flexible and your ambition and desire to succeed will stand you in the best of stead to pursue a long term career in this hotel.

Reporting to the Exec Head Chef.

Qualifications/Experience required: A minimum of 2-3 years in quality establishments at a similar level with a minimum of 1 AA Rosettes. Must have NVQ level 1&2 or equivalent and a full understanding of food safety and hygiene. Applicants must be well presented and have a stable CV with good references.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
