Job Description
A fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie has arisen in an award winning hotel.
This opportunity is in a recently refurbished hotel with over 50 bedrooms which is surrounded by scenic Surrey countryside.
The menus offer a Traditional European Cuisine with a dash of French thrown in, providing the restaurant, lounge and banqueting rooms, which can cater for up to 120 covers.
It is essential that you have experience of working with fresh produce at Chef de Partie level previously, ideally in Sauce. A strong hotel background with rosette experience would be an advantage.
The ideal Chef de Partie will have to demonstrate the ability to:
* Be part of their team displaying excellent people management and communication skills
* Improve the capabilities and contribution of kitchen staff
* Constantly innovate and evolve our food offerings, differentiating between quality bar meals and \'fine dining\' in our 50 seat restaurant
* Maximise the impact of the establishments success & reputation in the area by progressing the food product further
The ideal candidate will almost certainly have a quality background, be passionate about creating and producing quality cuisine, and be highly self-motivated. This position would suit a talented and dedicated Commis Pastry Chef looking for their next step.
In return, we offer a salary of up to £18K p.a. (reviewed annually) and accommodation.
