Our client requires developers to deliver industry-leading devices across a broad range of consumer electronics and Embedded markets.
You will optimise audio algorithm implementations for the target processors;
Additional responsibilities may include:
Development and modification of audio signal processing algorithms;
Providing occasional on-site porting and support.
Participation in customer visits;
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Essential qualities:
Degree or other higher level qualification in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or another computer-related discipline;
Experience of implementing audio algorithms on DSPs, RISC or SIMD processors;
Good interpersonal skills and a team player;
ASM, C and C++ programming experience;
Desirable attributes include:
Post-graduate qualification (eg MSc or PhD) in a relevant field;
Audio DSP algorithm design and use of tools such as MATLAB;
A knowledge of consumer audio;
DSP Assembler programming experience;
An interest in audio, sound design and/or music;
