Our Cubitt & West Lettings Department is expanding!
This is an additional position within our very busy Property Management department in Horsham. You will have previous experience in property management, and be used to dealing with contractors and maintenance staff. Good customer liaison skills essential as is an organised manner and a calm approach!


PROPERTY MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION


The role of Property Manager is to have responsibility for a portfolio of
property.

The tasks include:

• Organisation of routine visits,
• Gas and electric safety checks
• Renewals of tenancy agreements including insurance policies
• Managing the maintenance, control of contractors and progression of works
• Rent arrears system.

Additionally there is a requirement to understand the law of contract and agency and this requires the completion of the National recognised certificate "The Technical Award", as we are as a company members of ARLA we adhere to the Code of Practice and the Lettings Ombudsman.

There can be a requirement for an experience property manager to attend
court and administer the claims process.

Also it is possible that a property manager can attend external appointments.
