Triumph Consultants Limited:

• Vacancy Title: Head of Highways Strategy

• What’s involved:

To lead on strategic delivery of highways (including associated structures and drainage) asset planning and development in order to maximise value enhancement and exploiting strategic opportunities with partner organisations and developers.

To ensure that the Council pursues a corporate strategic approach to highways related planning ensuring that assets are efficiently and effectively utilised and fit for purpose through cross departmental and cross Public Sector organisation approaches.

To lead the strategic direction of the corporate highways plan and to assist in delivering the highways side of the regeneration, asset management plan and property strategy and the 10 year corporate property plan.

To deliver the council’s capital highways works and development programmes, including the primary capital programme and the impact of the councils housing new build programme.

To address the statutory duties required to be undertaken by the Council under relevant legislation.

Corporate lead on the effective strategic management of civil engineering and traffic management duties/functions throughout the borough including addressing the requirements of the Mayor’s Transport Strategy and the boroughs Strategic Transport Plan.
